Tallahassee Remembers 9/11

The city of Tallahassee is remembering the 9/11 terrorist attacks in more ways than one. Story to come.

Citizens nationwide are finding creative ways to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks. Today in Tallahassee, the Marzuq Shrine Center co-hosted a blood drive with Scottish Rite in remembrance of 9/11. Volunteers who donated blood to the Southeastern Community Blood Center received 9/11 commemorative T-shirts.

The 9/11 commemorative quilt hangs in the FSU Askew Student Life Center.

A 92-inch by 114-inch 9/11 commemorative quilt is on display in the Florida State University Askew Student Life Center. The quilt will be available for viewing until Sept. 11 at 11 p.m.
